The Gentle Power of Ear Seeds

At Breathe In Bliss Out, I believe in the simple, natural tools that bring us back into balance. One of the most beautiful therapies I now offer is ear seeds — a subtle yet powerful way to support your body and mind through the ancient wisdom of auricular therapy.

What Are Ear Seeds?

Ear seeds are tiny seeds or crystals that sit on specific points of the ear, held in place with a small adhesive. These points connect to different systems and emotions within the body, creating a miniature “map” of wellbeing. By gently pressing on the seed throughout the day, you invite a wave of calm and release, helping your energy flow with more ease.

Traditionally, Vaccaria plant seeds were used, though today you may also see polished crystals, metal beads, or magnets. Whether simple or decorative, their purpose remains the same — to bring balance, relief, and a little touch of beauty to your self-care.

Why Try Ear Seeds?

So many of us carry tension in our shoulders, stress in our thoughts, and heaviness in our hearts. Ear seeds offer a gentle, non-invasive way of softening this load. Clients often turn to them for:

You may choose to book ear seeds as a stand-alone session, where I will map the points most suited to your intention — whether that’s calming stress, lifting mood, or easing sleep or pain issues.

Alternatively, ear seeds make a wonderful add-on to other treatments such as holistic facials, EFT sessions or Reiki. They extend the benefits of your session, helping you carry the healing home with you.

What to Expect

During your appointment, we’ll begin with a short consultation to explore how you’re feeling and what you’d like support with. I’ll then gently place the seeds onto the ear using tweezers and skin-safe adhesive. You’ll leave with a simple self-care guide, showing you how and when to press them for best results. Seeds are usually worn for 3–5 days, after which they can be removed easily at home.
