EMOTION Movement – Finding Freedom Through Feeling
Have you ever noticed how your body instinctively moves to release emotion — a deep sigh, a stretch, a sway to music when words just aren’t enough? That’s the essence of EMOTION Movement — movement born from emotion, energy, and expression.
I created EMOTION Movement as a space to reconnect to ourselves through the body. So much of modern life keeps us in our heads — busy, rushing, analysing. Yet our bodies hold stories, tension, and emotions that words can’t always reach. Through intuitive, chakra-inspired movement, eMotion invites you to feel, flow, and free yourself from what you’ve been holding.
Each class follows an energetic journey through the chakras — the body’s energy centres — using rhythm, sound, and guided movement to awaken and balance different aspects of ourselves.
EMOTION Movement isn’t about choreography or getting it “right”. It’s about tuning in to how your body feels and letting that lead the way. Some days you might move softly and slow, other days wild and free. There’s no judgment, only expression. It’s for every body, every age, every level of experience.
I was inspired to create this type of class after years of exploring energy work, dance, and emotional healing — from chakra dance and EFT tapping to reiki and sound therapy. I began noticing how naturally movement shifts energy — how after dancing, we feel lighter, clearer, more ourselves. I wanted to create a class that combined that emotional release with energetic awareness, so we can dance not just for fitness or fun, but for freedom.
Each session is a journey — part mindfulness, part movement, part meditation — guided by carefully curated music that helps you drop into your body and awaken your energy.
